In 2019 I was part of the small decor team of 6 working on Nozstock’s Elephants Grave stage. The theme was “Wizard of Noz” that year, and we decided to turn the stage into the haunted forest from the film, where the enchanted trees fight back when their apples are picked!
The main feature of the forest is obviously the enchanted trees. we made these by scrimming over cardboard forms to create these crazy characters.
Elephants grave then became the haunted forest and we made this sign above the tent from fishing line and ply wood.
We also repainted the sign to match our new decor and added new fabric and a fresh paint job to the traditional elephants heads situated around the stage.
